A Very Krampus Christmas!

*Attention parents! This experience is not recommended for children under 12.* (But that is your free will)
*WARNING:* Krampus is a scary figure for young ones, so please consider this before visiting. The photo opportunity is designed for mature children and adults, but ultimately, the choice is yours!
Meet our life-size Krampus, who will be sitting in a chair for an unforgettable photo op. Our friendly assistant will be on hand to snap your picture with your device, capturing the thrill of this legendary creature.
Join us in the fascinating lore of Krampus, a half-goat, half-demon figure from Central European legends known for punishing misbehaving children during Christmastime. He’s the mischievous counterpart to St. Nicholas, originating from Germany—his name coming from the German word “Krampen,” meaning “claw.”
With roots in ancient pagan winter solstice rituals, Krampus is said to be the son of Hel, the Norse goddess of the underworld. When Christianity spread, Krampus stuck around in the holiday celebrations, even when the Catholic Church tried to ban him! Legend has it he appears on the evening of December 5 (Krampusnacht—“Krampus Night”), arriving alongside St. Nicholas. While St. Nicholas rewards the nice children with gifts, Krampus takes a more devilish approach, punishing the naughty ones with branches, and in some tales, he even takes them away!
On December 5, St. Nicholas Day, children awaken to discover their gifts—or nurse their “injuries.” Ready for a unique and thrilling experience? Come meet Krampus and create memories that will last a lifetime! 👹(Thats the date of our Story Time & Tea with CJ the DJ!
