The Sandglass Theater is here to announce

From September 7th-15th, 2024, its 12th Puppets in the Green Mountains (PGM) international festival is coming around!

Local and international artists and community leaders bring to life this year’s theme: Just Around the Bend, which will investigate the relationship between evolving technologies and embodied knowledge through the dynamic artform of Puppet Theater. This year will include award-winning performances from Germany, Spain, Canada, Israel, Puerto Rico, and across the USA, and a world premiere of a new Sandglass production.

Sandglass Theater will be partnering with the Brattleboro Museum and Arts Center on an special exhibition of original puppets from two productions titled From Home/To Home. Visitors will have the chance to take part in invigorating Access Through the Arts panel discussions as well as a special Visiting Artist Masterclass on a unique approach to making Object Theater. Experience Southern Vermont in its most seasonally and artistically magical time.
