The Beals Memorial Library presents the fifth annual Beals Prize for Poetry!

The Beals Prize for Poetry is sponsored by the Beals Memorial Library in Winchendon MA and is an annual poetry contest open to poets based in Massachusetts and the 13 New Hampshire towns within 20 miles of Winchendon, MA. They are Dublin, Fitzwilliam, Greenville, Jaffery, Keene, Marlborough, New Ipswich, Peterborough, Richmond, Rindge, Sharon, Swanzey, and Troy. There is no cost to enter, and the top three finalist will be awarded prize money!

The prizes are as follows:

1st Place: $250

2nd Place: $100

3rd Place: $50
