Doug Farrell, Jack Henry, and Beth Eldridge — each a talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist — banded together to form Decatur Creek, blending their solo styles to create an original acoustic sound.
Influences run from traditional and roots Americana to country and folk, with well-crafted songs, warm vocals with tight harmonies, and crisp musicianship that flows with rhythm, soul, and wit. Decatur Creek is one of the region’s real gems.
Patty Keough, after doing time in the corporate mines, took to the stage and never looked back. She writes songs that get people crying… tears of laughter, or shared sorrow. She lives off-grid in Vermont with farmer friends, plenty of wine, and lots of cats. She does animal rescue — mostly cats, as they’re 75% of the stray population — and she uses all of her performance income, tips, and donations in her rescue activities.
“Patty shines in the lights. Check her out.” — Mary Gauthier
“Not only is Patty a talented songwriter and moving performer, she is also an organizer and community builder.” — WUMB Boston
Stage 33 Live is a casual and intimate industrial-rustic listening room in a former factory hosting local, regional, and national performances and presentations of original material. No bar or kitchen, the stage is the mission; coffee / soda / juice / water and weird snacks available by donation. More information about the nonprofit, all-volunteer project, and this and other upcoming events, online at stage33live.com
Stage 33 Live gratefully acknowledges the help of so many individuals without whom none of this would be able to happen, and institutional support this season from The Island Corporation, WOOL-FM, Guilford Sound, and the Rockingham Arts & Museum Project to help fund improvements and maintenance, and generally smooth out a lot of the rough edges. Stage 33 Live is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are deductible to the fullest extent. Volunteers run the thing from stem to stern.
