will be held on Saturday, August 29th, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Motel in the Meadow, 936 Route 11 West, Chester, Vermont.
This year’s outstanding entertainment features talented local musicians who generously donate their time and talents to support the cause. The 2026 lineup includes Mark Shelton, Sammy Blanchette, The Illusion, John & Katy Sullivan, and Intercept.
Returning this year is the popular Silent Auction
featuring generous donations from local businesses and community members. Guests can also enjoy hot food and cold drinks available for purchase throughout the day.
New family-friendly activities are planned for 2026
including a Teddy Bear Picnic for children beginning at 11:30 a.m., along with cornhole and a family games area featuring bucket golf, ball toss, Can Jam, and several other activities for all ages.
Raffle tickets will be available for the beautiful Grand Prize Queen Quilt
handcrafted by Sue Ashe and Sue’s Quilt Studio, along with additional raffle prizes offered on the day of the concert. The raffle drawing will take place at the conclusion of the event at approximately 6:00 p.m. on August 29th. Winners do not need to be present to win.
Over the past 21 years, Music in the Meadow has raised more than $130,000 in support of Susan G. Komen’s mission
to “save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.” Every dollar raised at the event is donated to Susan G. Komen’s Fight Against Breast Cancer.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, or relax under the tents in the meadow, and enjoy an afternoon of great music, family fun, and community spirit—all while supporting an important cause. We look forward to seeing you there!
