A Notice to the Keene Community

Greetings FACT TV community members and Keene residents,

It is with great sadness that we announce that Falls Area Community Television (FACT TV) has closed its operations at the Keene Public Library and will no longer be providing public access television services in Keene.

It has truly been a joy and a privilege to help establish public access television services in Keene and to work alongside the many community producers, residents, organizations, and City of Keene officials who supported and participated in the station. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who created programs, shared their voices, volunteered their time, and helped make Keene’s public access channel a resource for the community.

Although FACT TV will no longer be providing services in Keene, the City of Keene is currently working on solutions to maintain Keene’s public access channel. Keene community producers who have questions about continuing their programs, submitting new content, or participating in the public channel should contact the City of Keene at

We also want to make sure that producers who have built a catalog of programs during FACT TV’s time in Keene have access to their work.

Producer content has been archived on a hard drive at the Keene station, and programs uploaded through FACT TV will also remain available on FACT TV’s Vimeo video hosting site.

Producers who would like to preserve their own copies of their programs are encouraged to download their content from our Vimeo site. If downloading your programs is difficult or you have a large catalog of shows, FACT TV can arrange a time for you to provide us with a hard drive, and we can copy your archived programs onto the drive for your own safekeeping.

We want to sincerely thank the Keene community, the City of Keene, the Keene Public Library, and especially the community producers who trusted FACT TV to help share their voices and programs.

While this chapter of FACT TV’s service in Keene has come to a close, we are proud of what was built together and grateful for the opportunity to have been part of Keene’s community media.

Thank you for your support, your creativity, and for allowing Falls Area Community Television to serve the Keene community.
