The Rockingham Energy Committee needs volunteers to help build 205 insulating window inserts for 27 families in Rockingham and nearby towns at a “community build” in Bellows Falls that starts next week (October 11-16). The program is called WindowDressers. This is a wonderful opportunity for community members to work together and assemble the inserts that both increase comfort and reduce fuel bills. There is no need to be a crafts person. Training is provided – or you can volunteer to provide lunch food. You can sign up online here: https://signup.com/go/UehebBr or for more information go to https://windowdressers.org/
Most importantly, it is an opportunity to meet your neighbors new and old, and contribute to our region’s commitment to increasing comfort and reducing of greenhouse gas emissions. Please join us.
