Whether in Red Tent Singers, Creative Aging classes, or our youth play, Persephone, Main Street Arts is all about gathering and strengthening social bonds. In our programs, participants support and inspire one another building friendships and community. This past year, 3,014 people have gathered in our space- this is an increase of 860 people from last year!
Your support is needed this spring to help us raise $20,000 allowing us to continue serving as a central gathering place for arts programming in Northern Windham County.
Our building is the heart of our programs providing a safe, accessible, cheerful space. Our theater, art room, and gallery offer possibilities for so many kinds of gathering: singing, dancing, acting, visual art and crafts. It is a place for laughter and risk. In 2025, we offered 64 classes, events, and workshops in our building! Your support will go directly to caring for this special place that on an annual basis costs $32,000 to maintain.
People of all ages and abilities use our classrooms and theater where skilled and welcoming teachers offer a wide range of arts choices. Scholarships and free programs are always available ensuring cost is never a barrier to the arts. The true cost of a class to cover MSA’s expenses is $242/person, but we are only charging $115/person. Generous gifts such as yours means classes in our unique facility that foster creativity and community will continue to be accessible to all.
Your contributions have allowed Main Street Arts to continue and thrive as vibrant and inclusive arts gatherings for almost 40 years! Thank you for supporting our spring fund drive goal of $20,000, each contribution made is deeply appreciated.
