BELLOWS FALLS VILLAGE CORPORATION ANNUAL MEETING May 19, 2025
Village Election May 20, 2025
The legal voters of the Bellows Falls Village Corporation are hereby notified and warned to
meet at the Bellows Falls Opera House Lower Theater in the Rockingham Town Hall located at 7
Square in said Village on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. to act upon all matters which may
be voted upon by acclamation and not otherwise to be voted upon by Australian ballot, and
then adjourn to the Masonic Temple (61 Westminster Street) in said Village at
8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, to vote by Australian ballot.

ARTICLE 1: To elect Village officers, as required by law. (By Australian ballot)
ARTICLE 2: To receive and act upon the reports of the Village Officers for the past year.
ARTICLE 3: To see if the voters of the Bellows Falls Village Corporation will vote to authorize
its Treasurer, with the approval of the Trustees, to borrow money from time to
time in anticipation of tax collection or payment of money due the Village from
the State of Vermont or the Federal Government.
ARTICLE 4: Shall the voters of the Bellows Falls Village Corporation raise and appropriate
money to pay the indebtedness of the Village, and pay all other general and
regular expenses of the Village beginning July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, in
the amount of One Million Nine Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand Seventy-Six
Dollars ($1,982,076) with the amount of One-Million Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine
Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($1,789,475) to be raised by taxes?
ARTICLE 5: Shall the voters of the Village of Bellows Falls authorize the Trustee's to borrow
an amount not to exceed Eight Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($812,500) for a period of up to thirty (30) years to fund the Village portion of
the replacement of the Kissell Hill Water Line and Colony Road, with the debt to
be paid by the utility customers?
ARTICLE 6: Shall the voters of the Village of Bellows Falls authorize the Trustee's to borrow
an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) for a
period of up to thirty (30) years to fund sewer improvements for Laurel Avenue,
with the debt to be paid by utility customers?
ARTICLE 7: Shall the voters of the Village of Bellows Falls authorize the Trustee' to borrow
an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Thousand ($400,000) Dollars for a period

of up to ten (10) years to fund the operations of the BF sewer plant, with the
debt to be paid by utility customers?
To transact any other business deemed proper when not involving the
expenditure of Village funds or any other business acted upon in the preceding
articles.
