Director Gail Gilbert's inspiring tale of special needs puppies touches audience's hearts

Bellows Falls, VT — September 4, 2025 -- PUPPY LOVE tells a personal story with a universal message. “My puppy and his littermates suddenly became paralyzed and the vets told us to put them down," explains writer-director Gail Gilbert. The documentary follows a literal “life and death” struggle as everything from Chinese herbs to chicken soup is used to nurse the pups back to health.
"PUPPY LOVE is more than a movie about dogs -- it's a story about the power of the human spirit to conquer things that seem unconquerable." said Gilbert.
