Rockingham Fire and Rescue Transition Plan Informational Meeting July, 26th, 2025
The Rockingham Fire and Rescue Transition Plan aims to consolidate fire departments for better efficiency and cost reduction. Plans for a new Saxon River Fire Station are in progress, alongside the need for new equipment and training. Recruitment strategies focus on certification and team building, while advanced first response services and emergency management coordination are also highlighted.
